actually that was a powerstroke with stacks so he must have something done to it......ive hooked up to 6.0's with my 99 5.9 and drug the backwards no excuses... fords suck!!!!

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I was there in person. Said white Ferd *IS* a powerpuke, I also saw it @ Beans Diesel Performance Open House earlier this year as I live in Mid-TN which is home to BDP.

I have owned a Powerstroke, and I know own an 03 Cummins. The Powerstroke was a great truck all around. Sure my Cummins is better, but i'm not a jerk that dogs on everything that isn't a Cummins. Let's get real here, stop being idiots! We all are diesel freaks, so why diss so bad? I've seen well modded fords toast Cummins trucks, and this year at IRP the Duramax trucks were right on the heels of Cummins! I love Cummins, but the gap is about to tighten between the big three.

i love the tug of wars but lets put this to a real world persective. u put trailers behind both trucks going up a hill i bet the "powerchoke would choke that cummins because of the V8 powerband ive seen it done. and if u want more power get a 6.0 they pulled every cummins they went against at the tug a truck in wapa ohio so dont give me this cummins is beter than stroker crap theyre all good

i think not... 2 of my buddys ran on 95... both had 22ft pathfinders on it .. both have edge... 03 dodge 02 psd.. yeah sure... a v8 will take a L6 off the line... at 40 we caught up as soon as the dodge hit OD ... it was over we just kept pulling..

he's right, I6 has much broader torque curve then a V8 <- reason why big rigs use I6s they HAUL better.

and i whenever people try and tell me one truck is better than another i say ok, so that why people choose to swap the cummins motor in to replace their powerstoke, GM6.2, gas V8 etc.

how many folks are swapping powerstrokes into their dodges?
how many are swapping cummins' into their fords? (quite a few)

wouldn't trade my duramax for powerstroke!!i can't say much about the 5.9 cummins.it's a diesel thats proven itself,but i must say in the last 2 years i hear more trouble from the cummins then the duramax.p.s. no need to be idiots about it!!! thanks TYRE BOYZ

for all you powerstroke lovers i have a 2004 cummins and my buddy has a 7.3 and my trucks an auto and his is stick with chips we had a pull off and i t was even fair my dodge dragged that powerjoke around like nothing and so on it will be up here for all you powerjoker looser to see

yeah, but the point the ummins is the best motor, people dont swap duramaxs cuz theres no point...Cummins is stronger, stouter, makes more power easier, cheaper, and LOTS more durable.

i agree the cummins is proven,in the last 2 years i hear more trouble from the cummins then the duramax,for instance my friend has 06 cummins he had it for 6 months and had it to the shop 4 times(12,000 miles).not saying that the dmax is stronger.u might say the gap is closing between the big 3

its great that someone running their mouth gets shut down, but that was like comparing apples to oranges. For instance, that dodge weighed more. The dodge has a solid front axle and if you watch the dodge waits until the idiot in the ford is spinnin his tires to start
