I've got an Edge Comp, Smarty, 412 Injectors, and a FASS, but I don't think I'm getting such good smoke out of my stacks. I'll have to try a few other mods.

tom green, he has a different turbo, a larger single, this is where the smoke comes from. The lag in the larger turbo allows for the pre boost to be longer and more fuel to flow causing more smoke, but idk why he hits the govenor between shifts, to get more smoke bog the engine, like shift from 1st to third and you will roll smoke!!!

i only hit the govner 2 times all the way through 2nd and 3rd because the tires were spining. trust me i know how to make it labor and just bellow out smoke

oh, just sounded like you could hear it "bahbahbahbah..." when you we stariting off, then after you shifted it looked like the wheels stopped, and it bumped the govenor again. ALL IN ALL that truck is pretty nasty, just wish mine was stick!

No kidding, a larger turbo is what I need? I had a guru of diesels here, we call him Diesel Darryl, say that I needed a bigger turbo. My buddies thought bigger turbo=bigger "fan" to blow the smoke out and would mean less smoke. But, as you explain, it makes sense.

I think having an automatic will hurt my chances, too.

My buddy I bought mine from said a bigger turbo was the next thing to get...so...I'll have to look into it.
