Maybe you didn't see the ford that was burning CC oil and ran away. BTW a R un Away diesel is one whose burning somthing other than #2 and cannot be s hut down or controlled.

i think thats an old 6.9 but for an old diesel it did pretty good, thats th e first generation ford diesel in a pickup

If it did have a 460 it wouldn't do all that bad either. ever drive one? in 89 the 460 was the engine to have at the county pulls.

ok corbin thats why my dads 87 dodge 250 with a 440 in it could never keep up with me, in my 89 f-250, with a 460 in it, i do like the old 318s i thi nk that was one of the best motors dodge ever built, cause i know a guy wi th a 74 power wagon with a 318 in it, its an old 4 speed, it runs like a r aped ape, its geared really low, top speed is close to 60, the old 318s wo uld run forever
